Village of the Arts is a neighborhood district in Bradenton built around creative work and community gathering. Founded in 1999, VOTA brings together art galleries, working studios, restaurants, breweries, and healing arts businesses in a walkable setting. The district hosts Art Walks on the first Friday and Saturday of each month, drawing people through the neighborhood to see new work and meet artists. Seasonal events throughout the year include Trick-or-Treat in October, Festival of the Skeletons in November, Holiday Shopping in December, the Suncoast Cigar Box Festival in February, and the Wonder Wall Mural Festival in March. Free parking is available. The Artist Guild of Manatee, Inc. governs the district.
