The Dali holds one of the largest collections of Salvador Dali's work outside Europe, from early experiments to the monumental masterworks, presented in a waterfront building whose glass "enigma" bubbles have become a St. Petersburg landmark themselves. Docent tours make the surrealism approachable without flattening it, and the avant garden and gift shop round out a visit. Give it a half day; the building, the collection, and the bay views each earn their share.
