The Castle opened on Guavaween in 1992 as a small saloon and has grown into a multi-room gathering space on N. 16th Street in Ybor City. The bar stocks single malt scotches, small batch bourbon, aged tequila, and beers from around the world across its Saloon, Main Hall, Tower, Courtyard, and Dungeon. The Castle hosts recurring events including Midnight Mass and Communion After Dark on Friday and Saturday nights, plus 80's Video Night in the Dungeon on the first Friday of each month. Live music and DJs perform regularly. Parking is available in two controlled lots and the nearby City of Tampa garage. The Castle also partners with local hotels for discounted rates.
