TechPlayzone is a science and technology program founded in 2005 by Desh and Daryl Bagley, serving the Tampa Bay area. The program offers STEM workshops and training through online sessions held in virtual reality environments using the FRAME by Virbela platform. Summer camps run June through August for kids entering grades 2nd through 8th, with new hands-on activities each year. TechPlayzone also hosts robotics tournaments, including FIRST LEGO League competitions that draw teams from across Florida. Led by qualified local educators, the program operates entirely online in the metaverse, making it accessible to students throughout the region without requiring travel to a physical location.
