Team Choice is a web-based tool built for professionals planning transmission lines and other infrastructure routes across electric, water, gas, and related industries. Based on the EPRI-GTC Transmission Line Siting Methodology from 2004, it automates the process of analyzing terrain and land use, generating alternate corridors, and evaluating route options. The platform includes GIS suitability mapping, stakeholder survey tools accessible on smartphones, and reporting features that generate charts and metrics for decision-making. A free version is available with options to upgrade. The software was developed by experts who have worked on hundreds of siting projects at local, regional, and national levels.
