Sun City Tree Farm is a family-owned tree nursery operating 140 acres in Ruskin, Florida. Founded in 1988 by JC, Eric, and Henry Tort, the farm grows container trees ranging from 15 to 200 gallons for landscape contractors throughout the Southeast. The operation has deep roots in the region; the family transitioned from citrus farming in the 1970s and 1980s to focus on tree cultivation. Today the farm supplies material for high-end landscape projects, including work at Walt Disney World and The Dali Museum. Their inventory includes European Olive Trees and Florida native species suited to regional growing conditions.
