St Petersburg City Theatre

Community theater in St. Petersburg staging volunteer-driven productions since 1925, with youth and teen programs.

About

St Petersburg City Theatre has been operating continuously since 1925, making it one of the longest-running community theaters on Florida's west coast. The theater stages mainstage productions entirely through volunteer effort. The organization runs a youth program for actors ages 7 to 14 and offers St Pete City Teens, a free program established by and for high school students. All acting roles are unpaid and open to anyone interested in auditioning. The theater also hosts Little Theatre Events in its lobby on a donate-what-you-can basis. Located on 31st Street South in St. Petersburg, the theater serves the Tampa Bay region and is approaching its 100th anniversary in 2025.
