Sound Exchange has been an independently owned music store since 1987, serving the Tampa Bay region with Florida's largest inventory of new and used music and media. The shop stocks vinyl records, CDs, Blu-Rays, DVDs, cassettes, reel-to-reel tapes, 8-track tapes, books, toys, and ephemera. It also carries classic stereo equipment from the 1950s through early 1980s, including amplifiers, turntables, receivers, tuners, tape decks, and speakers from manufacturers like Pioneer, McIntosh, Kenwood, Sansui, Marantz, Rotel, Advent, and JBL. Sound Exchange offers repair services on turntables from any manufacturer and on other equipment purchased from the store. Customers can also sell their items to the shop. The store ships items to customers' homes across the country.
