Plant City Photo Archives holds over 100,000 historical images and documents that trace 140 years of life in Plant City, East Hillsborough, and West Central Florida. The collection includes photographs, maps, newspapers, yearbooks, and themed materials covering railroads, local businesses, veterans, Strawberry Festival history, and community figures. The archives began in 2000 when the organization acquired photographs from Bill Friend's estate, and expanded with the establishment of the Dr. Scotty and Hsiu Huang History Center in 2010. The public can browse the collections for free, and the archives continue working to bring materials online. They welcome donations of physical photographs related to the greater Plant City area and surrounding region.
