Pete's General started in 2019 as a neighborhood bakery and general store in historic Uptown St. Petersburg. The operation has grown to five locations: the original South St. Pete spot, a larger cafe in Grand Central, a cafe in Ybor City that receives fresh bagels each morning, a bakery in Gulfport, and another location in Tarpon Springs. Everything is made from scratch daily. The business is run by family and friends, and beyond bagels they offer catering for events and bagel parties, event space rental through Jubee Rental, wholesale services, and a small merch line with bagel-themed tees and totes.
