Neighborly Care Networks has served Pinellas County seniors for nearly 60 years, starting as one of the nation's first federally funded Meals on Wheels programs. Today the organization delivers nutritious meals to homebound seniors 60 and older, runs Senior Cafes where older adults can dine together, and offers Adult Day Services with activities, medical monitoring, and support for family caregivers. The nonprofit also provides wheelchair-accessible transportation to medical appointments, shopping, dining, and its own centers. One-on-one nutrition counseling is available for seniors managing health conditions through diet. Last year alone, Neighborly Care Networks delivered over 500,000 meals and provided thousands of days of adult day programming and medical transportation trips across the county.
