Louis Pappas Market Café started in Tarpon Springs in 1925 as a Greek family restaurant and has grown to five locations across Tampa Bay: South Tampa, Trinity, Citrus Park, Sarasota, and Lakeland. Four generations of the Pappas family still run the business. The menu centers on Greek and Mediterranean dishes, including the restaurant's signature Greek salad made from a 100-year-old recipe created by founder Louis Pappas Sr. that features a distinctive potato salad base. You'll also find Tampa-meets-Greek fusion items like Cubans, mojo pork sandwiches, Greek-a-dillas, and gyros. The restaurant offers vegetarian, gluten-conscious, and dairy-free options. Beyond daily dining, Louis Pappas handles full-service catering for events ranging from 12 to 250 guests, with 40 years of catering experience across corporate lunches, weddings, school events, family gatherings, and sports banquets.
