Leaven Brewing opened in Riverview in 2017 as the neighborhood's first brewery. Owned and operated by husband and wife KJ and Jillian, it's located on Boyette Road and keeps 12 beers on tap at all times. Their flagship is the Cheeky Blonde Ale, a 4.6% ABV blonde ale. The taproom is open Monday through Thursday from noon to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday until midnight, and Sunday until 10 PM. The brewery regularly hosts food trucks and live music events. A second location is opening soon in Plant City.
