About

Hillsborough Lodge No. 25 is a Masonic organization with deep roots in Tampa. The lodge received its original dispensation in 1850 and was chartered in 1851, beginning with 61 members. The current temple, located at 508 E. Kennedy Boulevard in historic downtown Tampa, was erected in 1927. Brother Leo Elliott designed the building drawing inspiration from three medieval Italian cathedrals. The lodge room features a 40-foot-high hand-painted ceiling and can accommodate approximately 450 brothers and visitors. The temple is listed on the City of Tampa Historic Landmark Register. The lodge is also home to the Paul Revere Chapter of DeMolay and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 11, and maintains an annual Table Lodge tradition that has been practiced for 23 years.
