Graphicstudio is a working studio and gallery at the University of South Florida in Tampa, founded in 1968 as a center for artistic research and education. The studio practices traditional printmaking techniques including intaglio, lithography, silkscreen, relief, photogravure, and cyanotype, alongside sculpture work in bronze, steel, aluminum, wood, and other materials. Over its history, more than 100 emerging and established contemporary artists have produced over 1,000 limited edition multiples here. The National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. maintains an archive of Graphicstudio editions. Visitors can see the studio's work and learn about the printmaking process in a space dedicated to both artistic creation and public engagement with contemporary art.
