Elmira's Wildlife Sanctuary is a non-profit home for exotic and wild animals in need of care, located in Wimauma south of Tampa Bay. Run entirely by volunteers and supported by members and private contributions, the sanctuary provides life management and enrichment for its animals while offering the community a chance to visit and learn. Tours are available by advance purchase and often sell out. The sanctuary also hosts educational programs and special events throughout the year to build awareness of animal needs and support its mission.
