The park was established as THEA's first Selmon Greenway Pocket Park and honors Hillsborough County Deputy John Robert Kotfila, Jr., who passed away in March 2016. The space features separate play areas designed for small dogs and large dogs, so animals can socialize with others their own size. K9Grass artificial turf covers the grounds, built specifically to handle pet use. Throughout the park you'll find water fountains fitted with pet bowls and bench-style seating.
