Dakin Dairy Farm has been operating in Manatee County since 1973, making it one of Florida's last remaining dairy farms. The farm uses grass-fed cows and sustainable practices to produce whole milk, 2% milk, 1% milk, fat-free milk, chocolate milk, heavy cream, half and half, buttermilk, eggnog, and multiple varieties of cheese curds. All milking, bottling, and processing happens right on the farm. The Farm Market sells their milk and ice cream alongside local products. The Dakin Moofè café serves local ice cream, specialty milkshakes, and retail foods. The farm also offers tours of the milk parlor, storage, pasteurization, bottling, and cheese-making operations. Farm tours, parties, and events can be booked, and summer camp is available.
