Cobra's Curse is a spinning roller coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in Tampa. The ride features a 30,000-pound snake king sculpture and a 70-foot vertical lift that brings you within inches of 3-foot-wide eyes and 4-foot-long fangs. The coaster covers 2,100 feet of track, reaches speeds of 40 mph, and lasts three and a half minutes. What sets it apart is the train design: cars travel backward and forward while spinning freely, with the spin direction and frequency determined by rider weight distribution, so each ride is different. The queue is air-conditioned and includes an immersive themed experience and a state-of-the-art snake exhibit. It's rated moderate thrill level and requires a minimum height of 42 inches with a responsible person aged 14 or older, or 48 inches to ride alone.
