Canoe Country Outfitters has served St. Petersburg and the greater Tampa Bay area for nearly four decades as a family-owned specialty retailer for paddling and small watercraft. Located on 54th Avenue North, the shop stocks kayaks from nine major brands including Bonafide, Current Designs, Old Town, and Wilderness Systems, plus canoes from Old Town and Wenonah. They also carry paddleboards from TAHE SUP and Bic SUP, and regularly stock Gheenoe micro-skiffs in 13-foot and 15-foot Highsider models with special order options for larger sizes. As the exclusive Wilderness Systems dealer for Pinellas County, they offer custom outfitting and repair services. Demo boats are available by appointment for those wanting to test equipment before buying.
