Bradenton Kiwanis Club has been part of the community since 1922. The club gathers every Tuesday at noon in Kiwanis Hall on the second floor of the Manatee Performing Arts Center for lunch, networking, and speakers. Guests are welcome to attend. Beyond meetings, the club runs several programs including a free reading initiative, Christmas tree sales with local Boys & Girls Clubs, Habitat for Humanity projects, and playground development. The club also operates an Aktion Club for adults 18 and older with special needs, and has published a book featuring stories and photos of its Aktion Club members.
