Bayshore Boulevard Linear Park
Three-mile waterfront path along Tampa Bay with walking, biking, and fitness amenities.
About
Bayshore Boulevard Linear Park stretches three miles along Tampa's bay, offering a wide sidewalk that runs from Columbus Statue Park at Platt Street south to Gandy Boulevard. The path includes a dedicated bike lane on the north-bound side of Bayshore Boulevard between Rome Avenue and Gandy Boulevard. Along the way you'll find benches, water fountains, bicycle parking, fitness stations, and access to the city marina. The trail is marked by fifteen bronze sculptures titled "Winged Figure: From the Firmament," designed by Michele Oka Doner and installed in 1992; these markers denote each mile, half mile, and kilometer as you head south. Parking is available at Ballast Point Park and Fred Ball Park. You can also reach the trail via the Coast Bike station at Rome Street or the Pirate Water Taxi near the Gasparilla Pirate ship dock.
