Anna Maria-Homes Beach Chamber of Commerce

Chamber of Commerce serving Anna Maria Island, a 7-mile Gulf barrier island with three towns, beaches, and nearby Cortez fishing village.

About

The Anna Maria-Homes Beach Chamber of Commerce represents Anna Maria Island, a 7-mile-long barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico split among three cities: Bradenton Beach to the south, Holmes Beach in the center, and Anna Maria to the north. The island is known for sugar-white beaches, clear Gulf waters, and low-key business districts without high-rise development or chain restaurants. Traffic moves slowly here; the speed limit never exceeds 35 mph. Free trolley service connects visitors around the island. Just across the Intracoastal Waterway lies Cortez Village, one of Florida's last working fishing villages, home to the Florida Maritime Museum in a restored 1912 schoolhouse on the Cortez Nature Preserve grounds. The chamber serves as a local resource for visitors and residents exploring the island's beaches, villages, and nearby waterfront heritage.
