Shoppe Around The Corner has been serving seniors age 60 and older across Pinellas County since 1966, when it launched as one of the nation's first federally funded Meals on Wheels programs. The organization delivers nutritious meals directly to homebound seniors and operates Senior Cafes where older adults can dine and connect with peers. They also provide Adult Day Services with activities, medical monitoring, and support for family caregivers. Transportation is available throughout the county, including wheelchair-accessible curb-to-curb service to medical appointments, shopping, dining, and their centers. One-on-one nutrition counseling helps seniors maintain their health. Last year alone, the organization delivered over 500,000 meals to seniors in need across the region.
