Roadway Concepts provides detectable warnings, also called truncated domes, that mark where sidewalk meets street. These surfaces are an ADA requirement that became especially important after curb ramps removed the traditional step, making it harder for blind and visually impaired pedestrians to sense the street boundary. The company's Top Guard™ product uses a glue-based attachment system rather than rigid mats, allowing damaged sections to be repaired individually. Top Guard™ comes with a 1-year replacement warranty covering labor and materials, with extended warranties available up to 5 years. A top coat re-freshening coating is also available to maintain the surface over time.
