Reithoffer Shows is a Gibsonton-based carnival company with roots going back to 1896, when founder Julius Reithoffer brought a steam-driven carousel to Florida after emigrating from Germany. Now in its fifth generation of family operation, the company travels to fairs and festivals throughout the United States with two operating units. They bring a full carnival experience: spectacular rides and thrill rides for older guests, kiddie rides for younger children, games of skill like basketball and water races, games of chance, and classic fair food including cotton candy, candy apples, funnel cakes, and cheese steaks. If you're planning a local festival or fair in the Tampa Bay area or beyond, Reithoffer Shows operates scheduled dates in 2026 and 2027.
