Neighborly Care has been delivering nutritious meals and support services to seniors across Pinellas County since 1966, when it started as one of the nation's first federally funded Meals on Wheels programs. Based in Tarpon Springs, the organization serves adults age 60 and older through home-delivered meals, Senior Cafes with dining and transportation, and Adult Day Services that include socialization, activities, and medical monitoring. They also provide curb-to-curb transportation to medical appointments, shopping, and dining, with wheelchair-accessible vehicles. One-on-one nutrition counseling is available for those who need it. Last year alone, Neighborly Care delivered over 500,000 meals to seniors in the community.
