King Tacos started in 1974 when Don Raúl and Doña Lupe began serving from a converted ice cream truck parked next to an East LA bar. That summer operation grew into a regional chain spanning 22 locations. The Bradenton outpost carries forward the original menu: Taco al Pastor, Carne Asada Burritos, Nachos, and Sopes made to the founding recipe. As one of the few surviving original Los Angeles restaurants still operating, King Tacos brings four decades of Mexican food tradition to the Tampa Bay area.
