Founded in Ybor City in 1905, the Columbia is Florida's oldest restaurant and still family-run after five generations. The dining rooms fill a full city block of hand-painted tile and courtyard fountains, and the kitchen keeps the classics honest: the 1905 Salad tossed tableside, ropa vieja, boliche, and Cuban bread pressed the traditional way. Flamenco dancers take the floor most evenings. It is equal parts restaurant and living piece of Tampa history, and it earns the visit on the food alone.
