Coco's Bistro opened in March 2022 when Miguel and Diana brought their Maracaibo roots to Sarasota's food scene. The kitchen turns out Latin comfort food made entirely from scratch: handcrafted arepas and cachapas, slow-cooked paballón with black beans and plantains, and patacón sandwiches layered with flank steak and Gouda. The Cowboy's Arepa pairs a grilled picanha steak with homemade mozzarella and their signature sauce. Homemade marquesas round out the menu for dessert. Everything here reflects the family's Venezuelan kitchen traditions.
