Brass & Woodwind Shop is Tampa's repair facility for band and orchestral instruments. Owner Steve Bockus brings more than 48 years of in-house repair experience to woodwind and brass work. The shop handles cork and pad replacement, spring work, key adjustments, tone hole repair, and crack sealing on woodwinds; mouthpiece and slide repair, valve work, dent removal, and lacquering on brass instruments. They also straighten trombone slides and manage factory restorations. Beyond repairs, the shop provides instrument appraisals for insurance and offers telephone estimates as well as in-person examinations to help you understand what your instrument needs.
